Soul Mate Reading — (33.3%)

Past Present Future — (19.4%)

As the Core Energy Reading itself is pretty much a bigger and more extensive version of the Elemental Alignment, I’m considering this as a continuation of Hoseok’s Elemental Alignment Reading (Part 4), so be sure to read that one if you haven’t already!

Main Reading

State of The Higher Self: The Starborn

Influence of The Higher Self: Apocolypsis

Guidance of The Higher Self: The Vessel

The state of the Higher Self reflects the state of the soul, as we saw in his Elemental Alignment reading, where he seems to be sharing a similar state to Yoongi, which I described as an incubation state. Namjoon is acting as a kind of incubator, and perhaps everyone else is incubating while they’re receiving their new systems and codes. With The Starborn, the egg, of course, gives that contained, tucked-away feeling, along with the sense of something growing within, preparing to be born or reborn. We then see this image bounce off the image of The Vessel, where we can imagine the human form emerging from a freshly opened egg. In the center, Apocolypsis gives me that feeling of “caterpillar soup,” or the chaotic “unmaking” of a caterpillar inside a cocoon before it becomes a butterfly.

As it is marked as the influence of the Higher Self, or the current operation of the Higher Self, Apocolypsis reflects many aspects of what came through in Hoseok’s guideline for his Elemental Alignment, particularly regarding reassessment and reconfiguration of the self in relation to his connections and environment. Apocolypsis is described as the “removing of the veil,” as, through elements of personal and external chaos, many things come undone, are shed, and what is left behind can be looked at as the bare bones of truth. Additionally, this card’s description also reflects Hoseok's state after the reunion, feeling a bit out of sorts or conflicted within himself as he attempts to fall back into old dynamics while new systems are being integrated. For reference, I’ll include the full description here:

  • “Apocolypsis — removing the veil of deception — Apocolypsis indicates a particularly painful time, one that unfolds when two disparate dynamics occur simultaneously, pulling the psyche in seemingly opposing directions. The first is a lifting of the veil. This means truths that have been kept in the dark are revealed, seen, and unearthed. No matter how relieving it is to witness them come into the light, an element of despair and grief follows. The second dynamic is the regeneration that comes from the wreckage of the revealed truth. The old narrative breaks, and a new story forms. Apocolypsis energy is similar to a forest fire’s: devastation for the sake of regeneration. The veil lifts, and we see who and what has been hiding. From the nakedness of the truth, a child is born. Have faith in the process, hold on to your center, that is the only way.”

Bypassing some of the more extreme or scary descriptions in there, I’m not feeling this as a majorly heavy or painful influence, but rather it’s really hitting me as the complex feelings and occurrences associated with pregnancy and birth. It’s quite… horrific and painful, the processes of pregnancy and childbirth, but zooming out, it’s a very natural and standardized process, one that occurs constantly in the world and has been a part of life since the very beginning. I think I’m seeing this two-way perspective because, from the perspective of the Higher Self, this is a very standard, by-the-book type of process that Hoseok will be moving through as part of his integration for himself and the group, but from Hoseok’s perspective, this can be quite a strenuous progression where he’s facing a few learning curves and difficulties regarding his connections and environments.

As the guidance of the Higher Self, or more specifically, where the Higher Self is guiding Hoseok through this process, The Vessel does just feel like The Starborn after the egg has been hatched, which can connect back to the Black Egg in his Elemental Alignment Reading. I’m seeing The Vessel connecting to Hoseok in layers, representing the point of personal emergence, or hatching, as well as a point of integration, when this new system integrates into his being on a conscious level. Along with that, the description of this card seems to hit on multiple elements as well, even referencing things that feel connected to the Soul Body and its new orbiting structure, and Hoseok’s netting or etheric tethers that hold it all together, holding him as the “vessel” of the Soul Body. Again, for reference, I want to include the description of this card so you can see what I mean:

  • “The Vessel — the body, the container, the cup — The Vessel may be the most powerful archetypal form on Earth. It is everywhere. Cups hold liquid, stoves hold fire, our bodies hold organs, our homes hold families. Through the simple act of separation, The Vessel protects what it contains. Nests protect the eggs. Savings accounts protect our earnings. Even the planets are contained within their circular orbit. When this card appears, it’s time to assess what is being “held together,” and how. Is The Vessel too tight? Too loose? Broken? Empty? Full? Or perhaps there is no vessel at all, and the contents spill in every direction. It is natural for structures to be formed and eventually fall apart. The Vessel has a life cycle that must be honored. Is it time for you to build, break, or repair? You must find out.”

State of The Shadow: The King

Influence of The Shadow: The Unseen

Guidance of The Shadow: The Nectar

The space of Hoseok’s Shadow is quite interesting, as it feels illuminated and vibrant, with warm colors present throughout. There’s a feeling of willing expansion, no evidence really of the Shadow being at odds with the Higher Self, no evidence of any kind of self-sabotage or unintended self-limitation. I think this may be because some of that pending self-limitation is part of the progression toward integration, specifically certain personal obstacles and setbacks that are in place for him to observe and overcome. In both The King and The Nectar, there is a sense of these hands reaching out from the Shadow, the black and white part of the images, into a more vibrant essence, something that evokes what we saw with the Raccoon in his Elemental Alignment. Both of these images give the sense of reaching into that charged-up energy that he has right now, the energy that he has curated for himself as a solo artist.

The King, as the state of the Shadow, reflects the ego as a significant part of this, but in a way that we see pride rather than an insecure, bruised, or inflamed ego. We’re seeing a reflection of a self-assured and affirmed sense of identity that emanates through him in his entirety, from the way his soul operates all the way down to how he walks and talks, how he carries himself in the world. I think this is kind of an interesting thing to take note of here as, in his Elemental Alignment, it came up that he would have a strong sense of self, be very confident, but would see it as being in conflict with his previous roll in the prior dynamic of the group, which would lend to him attempting to tone himself down or hold back to some degree. I think this is why this is registering in the space of the Shadow without it being something that is actually majorly detrimental or a result of a wounded or inflamed ego.

The influence or operation of the Shadow being The Unseen reflects that aspect of Hoseok trying to limit his expression or shrink himself down a bit from where he is now as a solo artist to where he expects himself to be needed in the group from now on. In comparison to the other two cards, this sort of faded and zoomed-in, or “shrunken down” image seems to reflect that temporary phase of self-veiling.

Moving into The Nectar, which is where the Shadow’s influence is guiding Hoseok, lining up with The Vessel, I’m seeing that little hand reaching in from the left side of the image as being the hand in The King. There’s a difference in perspective here where Hoseok may see himself as being quite big, too big, too bright, too loud in his new state of being as a soloist, and thus that leads him into that effort to tone down and reconfigure himself back into an old state of being. As it is the inevitable outcome, we see in The Nectar his perspective change to where he can see that the new state, the new dynamic of the group has room for everyone, room for everyone’s hand, everyone’s essence, everyone’s tone, at their full maximum potential, to be visible and fully displayed.

Between the two images, there is also something very interesting being displayed that plays into what I keep seeing about the interactions between the group on a conscious and physical level, and the Soul Body being swapped — the previous state being one in which the Soul Body’s operation influenced the group both consciously and physically. Now, as they go forward, the conscious and physical progression of the guys will influence the Soul Body, or at least trigger major phases of its development and operation. In The King, the hand is reaching upward toward light, something etheric, not physical, while the hand in The Nectar is reaching toward a flower, something tangible and physical.

On one level, I see this reflecting the conscious mind reaching up while the Soul reaches down, and I’m also seeing this as a kind of shift in focus overall for the group, which, again, may first start with Hoseok. The King is reaching for light, the spotlight, the recognition, the outer affirmation or approval that comes with being crowned. As a group, and now as individuals, they have indeed achieved this. With The Nectar, they reach for something softer, something of beauty and personal curation, flowers they plant and raise, something they either intend to harvest or put on display. It’s so much softer and spread out compared to The King, as if they gain such confidence at some point going forward that it's really about creating art together, creating beauty, and spreading it out to the world. It also brings to mind, “your trials will end in full bloom.”

It feels not like a closing or “receiving your flowers” at the curtain call, but rather this feels more like reaching the climax, implying that we may only be halfway done, which makes me think of that Wheel of Fortune/10 of Cups/Ace of Pentacles set in the ARMY Outlook Reading which suggested there being higher plans for BTS to be solidified in the world for “another 10 years.” The first 10 years (being marked as beginning in 2015) being geared toward The King being crowned in all of them, the process of building their pillars upward, while the next 10 years could be centered around expansion outward, liberation from those expectations, freedom, and something that feels more like a personal evolution.

Higher Universal Energetic Influence: Magic

The Magic card popping up here feels so on point with the overall process that has been laid out for Hoseok across both of his readings, as well as what seems to be unfolding for all seven of the guys together. The note on the card says, “The frequency of Magic supports our intrinsic ability to grow and expand beyond this moment to move toward possibilities and expressions that are as grand and profound as we can imagine. All that is required is our belief in their manifestation.” That just encapsulates the progression from The Starborn to The Vessel and The King to The Nectar. On an individual level, for Hoseok, there is a process here, or a lesson in truly believing in all that he is and all that he has become, allowing that to ring true and become all that he can be. Within the group, Hoseok seems to be spearheading this overall expansion and the acceptance of that expansion, as well as the new dynamic and the new presentation that the world will see when they’re all together again, performing and making music together.

Magic here also seems to amplify The Nectar, really highlighting the association of this card with Amrit and Soma, substances that contribute to and generate healing of the mind, body, and soul, as well as amplify awareness and the connection to the soul. The image of the flower in The Nectar is reflected here in Magic. This is the main goal or the main destination put forth by the Universe itself, linking into Hoseok as an individual and into all seven of them together.

Core State: Page of Swords (rev.) + Death

The core state here in relation to all of this, reflects the core state shown in his Elemental Alignment reading, along with the residual energy of his soul being a bit disconnected while in that incubation state. The Page of Swords in reverse is the main energy here, which lays out the energy of a person who is very stimulated and eager to move, but is without a clear plan, map, or even an idea of what to do or where to go. This feels a lot like where he is right now in terms of just kind of riding the ebbs and flows, but here, there is a threshold laid out where I feel like we’re looking at the the exact point of transition between the current state of things with all of that Saggitarius energy that was bubbling up and the next phase of things where he pulls all of his energy inward.

Especially with the idea of Hoseok being the King of Swords, the King of Air, and then sort of “inhaling” and “holding his breath” in the shape of the Page of Swords, the younger, smaller version of the King, this is reflecting the necessary process of regressing for the sake of affirming a way forward. The presence of Death here is evident in two ways — on one end, it’s straightforward, implying the internal death, the deconstruction of previous structures, mindsets, behaviors, connections, and so on, leading to the creation or birth of something new. On the other hand, Death and its connection to Scorpio and the 8th House feel like a representation of the regression from that Sagittarius/9th House energy that Hoseok is in right now.

As I mentioned in the previous reading, it’s a temporary state, a temporary phase of repressed energy, odd perceptions of role and dynamics, and a period of integration where reframing and altering many things at once become the main focus. While this does carry a lot of pressure and confusion, there is also a higher sense of openness, almost like reconnecting with a certain kind of youthfulness, where there is a good sense of potential and growth on the horizon. I think this reflects the split view of the Soul and the conscious mind.

How The Core Meets The Subconscious: 2 of Wands + The Star (rev.)

This is quite interesting because it is nearly a direct reflection of the core state, indicating a relatively clean transition or integration of the soul’s influence into the layers of consciousness. The only difference here is that the 2 of Wands, which is associated with planning and strategizing around travel and progression, both in the long and short term, opposes, or really seems to attempt to compensate for the lack of direction and planning in the reversed Page of Swords. Falling a bit more into what I’m seeing of him right now, perhaps suggesting that his current mindset or way of operation will be utilized going forward as a way to deal with the more prominent sense of confusion, the 2 of Wands, and the expression of Fire energy here, really make this feel more intentional and conscious. Like, he’s really trying to apply strategy specifically because he feels very out of the loop with things. I’m seeing this as him not having a clear idea of what is to come or how to approach things, so he’s very deliberate with his actions, moment to moment, again mirroring what he has now with how he’s so externally focused and grounded.

The reversed Star was coming through as some level of subconscious or intuitive awareness of the limited connection to the soul, as if the North Star, or the guiding star in the night sky is no longer visible, but rather than panicking or ending the journey, he creates his own star in the 2 of Wands. I feel that there is significance in the fact that we are seeing two stars in the 2 of Wands, representing two levels of focus or destinations in mind — I’m thinking these are connected to his own outlook for himself and an outlook for the group. Again, this connects to the subconscious awareness, so having both views play a role here, even in a time when he is self-focused, isn’t surprising.

State of The Spirit: Higher Power + No Place Like Home

This is a pretty trippy set, as I see it. This connects back to details in his Elemental Alignment regarding connections, a sense of home or safety, and the Lonely card. The Spirit refers to his projected energy and can reflect multiple layers of consciousness at once. With these cards side by side, I’m seeing Higher Power as the soul or higher unconscious, and No Place Like Home as more in the conscious mind. Both of these are centered on the head, with the figure in Higher Power showing a keyhole on the forehead, and the house raised into the sky acting as a head of its own, with a door at its center. On both sides, there is a sense of elevation, lightness, and an ease or comfort that can be extended to the self from the mind and the soul.

In a “everything all at once,” kind of way, this is showing that while Hoseok may still be in the process of learning how to unlock those doors and access these levels of personal, self-supplied comfort that don’t involve him repressing or numbing himself, his own essence, his own energy is primed to provide this light and comforting sanctuary. On some level, I have a feeling that this will eventually extend outward through his energy field, as in, after he becomes a more well-rounded source of his own comfort and healing, as supported by better outside conenctions and environments, he’ll become an even more “openly available” sanctuary for other people. This is reminding me again of Jimin’s role in the Soul Body as well as in the group on a conscious level, as a clear person of comfort that the other members would seek out, as his energy alone was/is enough to bring a sense of peace and comfort.

State of The Ego: Co-Create (rev.) + A Change In The Wind + Mending

Connecting back to the Shadow a bit, the reversal of Co-Creation settles the Ego’s focus on Hoseok’s solo work and operation with A Change In The Wind transitioning him over toward Mending where, essentially, Co-Creation, or the group-oriented work, begin to become the main focus again. It’s going to keep coming up, but this is, again, a temporary state, not a significant issue that will be detrimental in any way. This is reflecting The King’s influence, that feeling or perception that he won’t be able to operate the way that he is now, or to the degree that he is now while with the group, and having to compromise or shed elements of his new energy in order to “fit” into the group or fit into an old dynamic.

We’re kind of looking at a snapshot of the Shadow’s state with The King, minus the process and desired destination of The Unseen and The Nectar.

Conscious State: The Magician + King of Cups

He has some really potent energy here in the conscious mind, leading with The Magician at the forefront and the King of Cups providing a subtle yet strong backing support of emotional stability and control, alongside clear receptivity and flexibility. I’m not sure how to describe it other than to say that this looks like he becomes a metal rod buzzing with potential, almost as if he’s not just The Magician, but The Magician’s wand. He’s not just the guy waving the wand. He is the magic that makes things happen. Both with The Magician and the King, there is a feeling of something quite rigid and strong meeting something very bright, charged up, and flowing, giving me visuals that mirror the idea of a conduit, either for energy, emotion, inspiration, communication, or all three. He’s beaming here, basically, very powerful. You can’t miss him.

Physical Manifestation: The Sun + Queen of Pentacles (rev.)

Speaking of beaming, here he is manifesting the whole Sun. Both of these cards are oozing a feeling of reborn youth or a kind of shedding of aged or damaged skin that leaves behind something soft, silky, and glowy. With The Sun, there is the energy of supreme joy, delight, youthfulness, and excitement, while the reversed Queen of Pentacles feels to be reflecting this energy on a more conscious level. There’s something in there about Air and Earth relaxing, the physical body and the conscious mind relaxing into the image of the angel in the image of The Sun. I’m thinking of the Queen being quite burdened by her responsibilities and role, feeling disconnected from her youth, freedom, and creativity, before she suddenly sheds her outer layers, relaxes, breathes, and starts blending with the Sun.

Hoseok is generating his own Sun here, creating an energy that he can blend into on both a conscious and physical level, along with the people around him, especially the other members. This may be the energy that becomes “unlocked” from Higher Power and No Place Like Home.

Areas of Conscious Level Focus: Aquarius — I Know + Eighth House — Endings/Beginnings

As for where his conscious level mind will be focusing or guided to focus in relation to The Magician/King of Cups and The Sun/Queen of Pentacles, he has here Aquarius — I Know and the Eighth House — Endings/Beginnings. The first thing that jumped out to me here was the 23 and 32 on the cards, mirroring each other and emphasizing this sense of self-reflection or reflection between the outer and inner awareness. Obviously, as Hoseok is an Aquarius, this suggests a self-focus, alongside the generalized meaning of a focus on the collective, elements of the 11th House. In other words, Aquarius is revealing a level of self-reflection where he examines himself as an individual, alongside his role in the world, and how he connects with and influences others, as well as how others influence him. This plays off of a lot of that Community/Family/Indecision/Seduction stuff from his Elemental Alignment.

The Eighth House pulls us into the deeper subconscious, more personal levels of self-reflection, and what feels like a more gritty, or “to the point,” type of self-reflection, where a stronger hand is applied to what he wants to keep and what he wants to discard. This seems to connect to those Shadow and Light cards, Arguments/Bountiful Harvest, and Patterns of Behavior/Inner World.

These two levels of self-reflection and comparison occur simultaneously, data is collected on both ends, and then compared and contrasted to provide a comprehensive overview of everything. It feels a little overwhelming to look at it all in the same frame, but this will be spread out over a good period of time and be processed on different levels, so I don’t think this will all hit him at once, and even if it does, I feel like his big Aquarius brain will be able to handle it and temper it through his system quite well.

Main Reading with Sprinkles!

The layout of the Sprinkles for this reading are very simple and to the point. At the top, over The Vessel, there is a Sprinkle that says, “purity.” This was coming through as a marker of the overall desire or goal for the final form to be the purest form, to be as close to soul integration as one can possibly get, to the point where one could literally say their body is a vessel for their soul rather than something their soul plugs into through levels of awareness. It’s such a simple note, but it’s quite vivid with what it is implying about this being a true “final form” in the making.

Moving over to the core state and the state of the Ego, Death is connecting over to reversed Co-Create through “a smaller task,” which plays off of “you are not grasping the message,” and “someone else will take care of it.” This is kind of funny the way this is coming through, but it’s like it’s literally saying the Ego itself is not going to grasp the message, it’s not going to be able to fully see itself as part of the group in its full form because… It’s the Ego, and that’s just what it does. So, Death is being directly applied to it, but in a way where it’s like an offhanded sidequest. Like, it literally feels like his Guides and his Soul tacked on a full-on Ego Death to the back side of the main to-do list and were just like, “eh, we already kind of did this before, so can we just speed run this bit because I don’t think he’s going to do all this on his own, we might as well just do it for him.”

We then move on to the space of the subconscious mind where the reversed Star has a designated note from Hoseok’s Guides saying, “part of our job…” “create a dream,” and “painful memory.” This is coming off of the “someone else will take care of it,” basically saying, “it’s part of our job to create a dream around/over a painful memory or perception.” There’s a little bit of a sly acknowledgement of interference here where they’re laying this over The Star to be like, “while he’s disconnected from his soul, we’re going to influence the soul with new codes that, once engaged, will just kind of… wipe out the Ego’s perception of Co-Creation and turn it into something that looks more like The Nectar… and that’s NOT interference because TECHNICALLY this will come through the SOUL, not US!” Like… okay, yeah, sure, we love a loophole.

Then, over the 2 of Wands, there is “speaking clearly,” which then connects down to The Magician in the conscious level through “please speak to me.” Over both The Magician and the King of Cups is “take a step back.” All together, this comes around as something that feels like a side-step to the ~assistance~ from his Guides, perhaps marking a literal pathway of intuitive reception or communication that can be accessed through “stepping back” or disconnecting from the outside world and simply turning his focus inward. This would make sense if they’re trying to implement big changes by just dropping things through the layers of consciousness; he’d only be able to receive them from within himself, and they wouldn’t come in from outside.

In the space of the Spirit, he has “sleep easy” over No Place Like Home, and “cute” over Higher Power. No Place Like Home reflected a more conscious level element of personal comfort, which is being emphasized with the relaxing and safe feeling of being able to “sleep easy,” to shut off and fully let go in a stable and secure environment. It’s showing a major easing of the mind. The use of “cute” over the massive state of Higher Power, reflecting the higher unconscious with the same kind of security and stability, is very interesting. I’m seeing it almost like a laughable thing, like literally on both ends — I can laugh at this, and it can laugh at me, if that makes sense. It’s as if the higher unconscious becomes so comfortable that it can laugh at anything and everything; it all becomes so easy. In the same way, because of this, it becomes less threatening, less likely to prompt a defensive response or a charge forward with retaliation. It’s like we can look at Hoseok’s soul and his soul can look at us, and we’d both be like, “Oh, cute,” and move on with a happy face.

Down at the bottom, over the reversed Queen of Pentacles, “silly times,” feels to emphasize that feeling of easing or shedding off layers of pressure, expectations, and burdens to instead move with a more playful, youthful, creative, and vibrant energy on all levels. This Queen of Pentacles was more connected to the conscious mind and physical body, so this seems to be incorporating a bit more of that playful energy from The Sun.

Lastly, “many gifts here” lies over Aquarius, indicating that there is a lot to gain from self-reflection and within one's connections to others, both in personal relationships and in the broader collective. This is reminding me of the combination of Bountfiul Harvest and Arguments in his Elemental Alignment Reading where it was shown that the “arguments” that he has within himself as well as with other people would produce a bountiful harvest of development, progression, and frameworks or roadmaps for new structures, dynamics, and mindsets going forward.

That’s all I have for this one, thanks for reading!
