Notes

Looking into Jin’s energy, the first thing I saw were those classic black and white checkered flags that they use to mark the beginning and ends of car races. There’s an element of perceived competition, but a competition he feels he’s winning, as in he’s well ahead of the other cars. There’s a sense of pride that has built up around his ability to have held things down for the group, as being the first one to leave the military, and to have also established quite a bit for himself. There’s even a feeling of disbelief lingering here as if he didn’t think he would be able to do it, or that he wouldn’t have been able to experience as much success as he has with his solo projects.

Something in this feels kind of funny, as if he went to take a few steps and suddenly he was on one of those moving sidewalk things that they have at airports. It was a little jarring, a little destabilizing, but he propped himself up quickly and started walking twice as fast with a level of confidence that made it seem like this was his plan all along. He’s really owning his success and taking it all with a charmingly smug demeanor that makes it feel like he’s seeing himself in his own lane, on his own path, one that still connects back to the group and runs parallel to it. It’s a very healthy balance here and I think he’ll have a very easy time getting back into the group activities and still being able to hold space for solo projects.

In my notes, I have it written down that he feels quite proud of himself for having held things together and built a name for himself beyond the group, which has allowed him to break into a whole new level of confidence. Before, there was a slight feeling of overcompensation when it came to his projected humor or confidence in certain spaces, but now, there’s a really nice sense of security that comes off a lot more relaxed and less calculated. In other words, it just feels like he’s having a lot of fun and there’s not much that can bring him down from this standing.

Notes On The Soul Body

In the original Soul Body, Jin was standing as the Solar Plexus and was the sole generator of the baseline energy of the entire body. He’s the only Fire sign, and because of that, his core energy on its own was used as the foundational power source, operating at one point very closely to Jimin. As Jimin was the Heart, Jin’s energy could be looked at as the blood that the Heart pumped through the body. In the new Soul Body, Jin still holds this position, acting as a power source, but as I was seeing it, it doesn’t look like all the energy is coming straight from him as if he were a battery pack, but rather it looks more like a kind of stimulant. It’s hard to describe it, but I’m seeing it like a chemical or some kind of medicine that is administered through Jin’s energy center that causes the other energy centers to start vibrating and stimulating their own energy.

This function is only within the Soul Body, and seems to be operating a bit like an on/off switch where, when they come together again, Jin’s energy center will be the first to “start the engine” and get things rolling. In fact, I’m pretty sure that’s literally what he’s doing now. He’s been warming things up ever since he came out of the military and has kept all the seats warm. Just as he was the first to leave, the first to match the etheric separation of the Soul Body, he was the first to return and therefore the first to reconnect or start up the generator within the new Soul Body. As I’m seeing it, it’s not a full activation of the body, it’s more like when the first person who is working an opening shift in a restaurant shows up, gets all the lights turned on, gets the coffee machines going, and starts prepping different things for the other workers.

His position as a generator seems to be an aspect of maintenance and supervision, it feels very “behind the scenes” or “in the warehouse” to the main operations. He’s securing quite a bit not just for himself, but for the other members on many levels. It’s like a perfect reflection really, what he is doing physically and what his soul is doing in the Soul Body. I think, so far, compared to the others, Jin is the only one who is not fully in that incubation state. His soul is already in position, already “keeping things warm,” and is just kind of waiting for everyone else to come back. As I said, I think he’ll have the easiest time slipping back into group activities and finding that balance between group and solo work, which probably means he’ll be in a good spot to help the others do the same, ensuring a good flow and function overall for the group.

Guideline

With his guideline, I made a note that the energy was JUMPING because as I was pulling the cards, they kept flying upward out of my hand and sliding all around. There’s a lot of excitement and stimulation here, to the point where, with The Womb as the first card, reminded me of a person describing the movement of a baby while they are pregnant, feeling them jump around and kick inside the body. There’s a bit of an antsy and frustrated feel to it, like there’s a lot of energy there but it doesn’t have anywhere to go, so it just keeps spiking or popping.

What’s funny here is that this feeling of frustration is purely just coming from assumption, like it’s not connected to anything that is going on around him, within him, or on a higher level. It comes off as his own perception or belief that he will “lose steam” when the group is back together, that he’ll have to settle down or take it easy. I have no idea where that’s coming from or why, because it doesn’t seem like it’s playing off the idea that he’ll lose favor or not have the time or energy required to do solo work.

With the first four cards — The Womb, Cosmic Flower, Peace in reverse, and Creativity — this is where that jumping or popping energy is mainly located, showing a lot of it stemming from things behind the scenes, processes of creation, inspiration, and expansion. He’s being stimulated quite a bit by the process of making things rather than releasing or performing, which may be where that feeling of “losing steam” comes from — he’s not expecting himself to lose energy or lose solo work in general, he may be expecting to lose that influence or control over the creative process, which seems to be something he’s been enjoying quite a bit.

I’m pretty sure that’s coming from his Sagittarius Sun, that sense of freedom and control over his own creations where he can, at the drop of a hat, make a decision that everyone on his team has to follow. That can be quite exhilarating for a Sagittarius, especially one who’s been modeled into “the oldest” of a group and who is/was fresh out of the military environment.

The Ostentation and Submission card show the line between Jin’s solo work and the group work, with Ostentation being his time on his own and Submission being his work with the group. There’s a lot more open space with Ostentation along with a lot more hands-on work and control as shown with the bulls and chariot. In Submission, with the bird sitting in the cage with the door open, the control or influence seems to be limited to verbal communication or the use of his voice.

I want to clarify the fact that none of this comes through as being negative or something he’s aiming to resist. He enjoys his current state with his solo work being the main priority, but he’s also quite willing and is anticipating the shift back into group activities. There is “willful submission” in the Submission card when it comes to the idea of actually being with the group again. The only issue that seems to be hanging heavy is the fact that he, like the others, just doesn’t know what it’s actually going to be like when they’re all back together. Everyone has changed and established themselves as individuals and have grown within that separation. Everyone is just a tiny bit on edge about whether or not things will flow as smoothly as they did before.

Now, this set is pretty interesting because I’m seeing this as a back-and-forth observation of how he, perhaps on a subconscious emotional level, is actually observing his solo activities against the group activities. North Node is suggesting that he feels to be on a higher path, his own true path of purpose and development, but he’s recognizing the loneliness of it. The split meaning of the Lonely card is present here — on one end being alone has allowed him to branch out and blossom as an individual, but at the same time, it’s a lot of pressure. For a period of time, he was the only one out in the world representing BTS while also establishing himself as a solo artist.

The Adoption card bounces off of the Support System Found card at the end, which made me think of his connection with Chris Martin and his work with Coldplay, as well as his involvement with variety shows and other projects. That temporary immersion into that space and the group seems to have allowed some of that pressure to be released and he was having a lot of fun. I’m sure the fact that he was not recognized as the oldest in those environments also helped him to relax and play a lot more. This feels to be an environment that feels like a safe haven, something that I’m seeing as an oasis in the middle of the desert, or a small island that a person lost at sea comes across.

There’s an interesting issue, however, where the mirrored cards of Leave Me Alone and Come Find Me seem to battle back and forth. There’s a deeper subconscious recognition that this is not his group, that’s not his family, that’s not where he’s supposed to be, and while he was feeling very comfortable and enjoying himself, something in that was making him miss the members and their time together on stage. So, on one end, while enjoying the energies of Adoption and Support System Found, something deeper in him, something that feels like a little kid, was fighting back and forth for all these new people to leave him alone and for the members to “come find him,” suggesting some part of him felt lost without them.

Day Dreams is very straightforward, feeling like his imagination running wild, jumping back and forth between dreaming up things for himself and his solo work, as well as things for the group, stuff he wants to do with them either in their personal lives or together with work and performing. The other members are on his mind quite often, there doesn’t seem to be a single second where he’s not thinking about them or reminded of them in some capacity.

This last set here suddenly drops in energy and everything becomes very dry and still. The Flying card in reverse brought me back to the Submission card with the bird who sits in the cage with the open door. The Knight of Pentacles is considered the slowest moving of all the Knights, traditionally the only Knight that is shown to not be in motion. Then, obviously, the 10 of Swords is depicting a dead person whose body can’t even be moved after being nailed to the ground with all of those swords.

The colors of the Flying and Knight of Pentacles cards, along with the imagery of the 10 of Swords really made me think of what I was seeing with the idea of a person being lost at sea finding an island. We can maybe imagine the man in the 10 of Swords having been flying a small plane that went down which stalled the progression or overall mission of the Knight of Pentacles as he had to swim and keep himself afloat. Then, we see him crawling up onto the shore, exhausted and pinned down by what could be a combination of fear, overwhelm, joy, and thankfulness — something that could mirror the back-and-forth energies shown in the Light and Shadow cards.

This set seems to be showing his final moments before the group is all back together again, and just as before, there’s a sadness to it, the perception of his solo work being a “lost mission” or that he didn’t take full advantage of his time on his own, but there’s also relief and a sense of safety and stability that he’s coming back to.

The keywords at the bottom are very interesting as well with Conformity and Plague starting the sequence suggesting that his previous role and persona in the group was majorly influenced but what others wanted or needed him to be. This is going into him being the oldest with the other members, and also him being the funny guy, the carefree guy, for ARMYs. There’s a very specific kind of mode or mindset that he enters with these roles and there seems to have been a very welcomed shedding of both of these for a while. Like, he was still the funny and carefree guy, but not for the sake of gaining approval or entertaining, that’s just who he is when he’s cut loose. It’s like he could be even more carefree in this time away from the group because none of it, if it ever went too far, would come down on the other members, which gave him a lot more confidence in general.

On some level, it feels like he wasn’t considering himself an idol while he was on his own, he was just… a guy?? A guy who sings, does variety shows, goes to events, and gets swung around by Chris Martin? He was just vibing through it all and there’s a really nice feeling to it, having stepped away from the typical role or expectations he was under.

Following that, Round 2, Sex, and Artist come together as a kind of Jin 2.0 where a lot of that freedom, a lot of that stimulation, especially what was seen in The Womb, Cosmic Flower, and Creativity, is being brought over into his new state. There’s more liberation or this feeling that I can only think to describe as the feeling you get when you take your bra off after a long day. Like that kind of relief that gives you room to breathe and takes away strain you forgot was there.

The element of Sex goes along with the Sacral Chakra, which is what Creativity is associated with, showing an amplification of creative influence and output, but as Sex implies the actual creative process rather than the creation, this is probably going into a lot of the behind the scenes building processes of work, both for him as a solo artist and the group.

He seems to be really into working with other people, being collaborative, so that could also be the element of Sex and Artist coming through in terms of combining inspiration, tools, skills, and creating something really fun and exciting together. He seems to be a bit more “bossed up” with this energy as Jin 2.0, so I would assume he’d push even harder or have more confidence in sharing his ideas with people, especially with the group.

Guideline With Sprinkles

Over The Womb card, there is “another try!” which crosses over a black Sprinkle, representing heavier energies, into the Cosmic Flower. The Cosmic Flower can be seen as what came out of The Womb, but here we see something that suggests that what he has birthed in this time on his own was something that had been halted or set back previously.

Over the Cosmic Flower is “long story, don’t ask,” “someone’s child,” “destroyed books,” and “hidden pages.” All of this comes together as, “don’t ask me any more about it, but basically, some immature asshole destroyed my work and made me act like it never existed.” This with “another try!” shows that his solo work, possibly his solo album in general, was something he had in mind for quite some time, but it was shut down or pushed aside before. I’m seeing this going back quite a bit, like years and years, but it was something that laid heavy on him. Something that could have made him feel like his own work, or anything he would do on his own wouldn't be worth anything.

This then goes over to the reversed Peace card, which has "apprehended at the club,” “tall trees,” and “show yourself.” The Peace card in reverse is showing a general feeling of being unstable or unsettled, which goes back to his disconnect from the group. However, rather than this showing up as a negative, it shows up in his guideline as open space where all of that energy from The Womb, Cosmic Flower, and Creativity can buzz around and spread out. The “tall trees” refer to the other members, and the prompt to “show yourself,” is/was encouraging him to take the opportunity to be more visible, to make a name for himself and affirm that he’s not just there to be the oldest or the funny guy, he’s got a lot of cool stuff going on.

“Apprehended at the club,” is connected to what lies over the Cosmic Flower as this Sprinkle refers to situations where you are having a lot of fun and someone comes along and forces you to leave or shuts everything down. This does carry a bit of embarrassment or some kind of insecurity as it literally feels like he was yelled at or got in trouble for… something? I can’t even think of what this could be, surely it’s not literally him getting in trouble for trying to make solo work years ago??

Moving over to Creativity and Ostentation, four Sprinkles lay between them that say, “a green man,” “don’t drink the water,” “pink ink,” and a prompt to “consult Arcana of Astrology.” For the consult, he got the 7th House and the Waxing Gibbous Moon:

I was seeing “a green man” reflecting down into the Knight of Pentacles, where “don’t drink the water,” was playing off of that idea of him being lost at sea. In general, “don’t drink the water,” is in reference to not ingesting something or taking an idea in that you can already see or assume is not good for you. It assumes you’re looking at water that is clearly dirty or contaminated. Right underneath this is “pink ink,” which I was seeing as bouncing over into the pink Sprinkles that connect Ostentation downward into the 10 of Swords, where I was saying we could see the Knight of Pentacles crawling up onshore after fighting his way through the sea.

The Sprinkle, “did you really mean that?” connects to “*glass door ahead!” over the 10 of Swords, which implies an unexpected set back or obstacle that ends up being a blessing or opportunity later on, an open doorway you weren’t able to see initially.

As I’m seeing this, in relation to the 7th House and the Waxing Gibbous Moon, it’s like the issues of limitation and comparison previously did in fact set him up to have more to share, more to give, more of a backbone in the public eye. If the issue really was him getting shut down for solo work years ago, then this is suggesting that it was a matter of timing, and that he just needed to wait for times like this where everyone was getting their shot and he would have more space to claim a spotlight for himself.

Over the 10 of Swords, as mentioned, “did you really mean that?” connects to “*glass door ahead!” which really feels like Jin himself asking someone, “did you really mean it when you said I couldn’t do this?” As if they were saying he wouldn’t be able to stand on his own without the other members. It’s interesting because, as this is over the 10 of Swords, the space where he seems to be exhausted and in search of that stability and security he finds with the other members, I think part of him is actually questioning himself on whether he actually can handle it, whether or not that other person was right, because he IS exhausted, he DOES want them back, he DOES work better with groups of people.

The second Sprinkle over the 10 of Swords is “accidents happen,” which feels like a waving off of those questions or potentials for self-doubt where he’s just like, “nahhh, everyone gets tired, anyone would miss their family. I got this, I always did.”

This then carries backward over the Knight of Pentacles and the Flying in reverse card, where we catch another pink Sprinkle that says “cute,” alongside “it’s just love.” It feels so calming with Jin looking back and being like, “I don’t miss them because I can’t handle this on my own, I miss them because I love them.”

Then falls downward toward Round 2 where another pink Sprinkle says, “did you notice?” on top with “I know how to row,” on the bottom, coming together as, “did you notice that I know how to row this boat on my own? Did you notice I made it?” And directly over Round 2, where Jin 2.0 stands, there is a very excited response to this question, “Oh, no, yeah, for sure!” Like, yeah, we see you, we got you, you proved us wrong, keep it going! It’s talking back to other people who doubted him, but it’s also going toward himself and his own self-doubts as well. He’s proven others and himself wrong.

Over the Adoption, Leave Me Alone, and Come Find Me cards, he has “getaway” and “nobody’s home,” which feels to be much more focused on the back and forth between Come Find Me and Leave Me Alone. It feels like an effort to “run away from home” in order to get away from the fact that the house is empty, everyone is gone. It’s an urge to work, work, work so that he can stay distracted from Lonely. What’s nice to see is that over Day Dreams and Support System Found there is a Sprinkle that says, “brought into balance,” which shows that the support he was looking for, or what he needed in order to keep himself up and going was easily found in other group-oriented activities, such as working on his show, working with people in the company, and joining people on stage. Anything that he had to do completely on his own was probably not his favorite thing.

The Lonely card connects downward to Conformity through “Manner + Tone,” which is a Sprinkle that focuses on implications in speech, suggesting there are elements of subtly or things that can be easily misunderstood. It basically suggests coded language. With this connected to Lonely and Conformity, it feels kind of like an issue where someone can tell by the way people are speaking that they are not approved of, but nothing is being said clearly enough for them to actually know what they need to change, leaving them to feel a bit isolated and lost within it. This can cause a person to start to intentionally blend themselves into the background. With this in mind, the Lonely card is making me think of a clown or some kind of costume that a person could put on to make others happy and hide the fact that they are upset or feeling insecure.

Along with this, “Solar Eclipse,” is under Conformity, which just further pushes that idea of someone fading into the background, getting further and further away from the front as they continue to hear people talking about them.

This then jumps over to Plague where, underneath there is a Sprinkle that says, “doesn’t look too healthy, does it?” followed by “next!” right above it. This is showing a current state of review, similar to the questions I was seeing him ask himself. He’s sort of reviewing that past state where he may have intentionally tried to fade himself or alter/mask his behavior in order to attempt to fit the unclear standards of other people. He’s recognizing the plague in it, the sickness, the poison that this kind of self-judgement and limitation that can come from listening too much to other people. Again, there’s been such a massive confidence boost for all of the guys in through their solo work and this is where Jin’s comes through quite a bit. He’s able to look back and question his own insecurity and desire to conform and just laughs at it.

Finally, under Sex, there is the number “4” and “new light,” which suggests the creation and potential birthing of a whole new foundation of self, a whole new way of creating. It brings to mind the idea of a painter buying themselves a new studio where they’re able to get better lighting with these massive windows, and because of that, their painting style changes, becomes more vibrant, and overall they become more productive and creatively stimulated. He’s got a whole new foundation within himself to be working on, and he’s seeing things through a different lens under different lighting. Very literally, Jin 2.0.

Main Reading

Core Energy: Cheetah — Fire (rev.)

As we’re looking at this from the frame of reference of the group’s reunion, there’s something here that’s very forced with the Cheetah being in reverse. Upright, it matches up with Jin’s energy very well, and seems to hold his new state of overall energy in its entirety, but in reverse, it feels like someone has their hand over the Cheetah’s mouth. It’s reminding me a lot of what I was seeing with Hoseok where there’s a situation where he feels he may have to hold himself back or restrict himself to a certain degree in order to function with the group again. The same thing is happening here, but for this isn’t coming off as Jin’s choice, this is coming off as his anticipation of someone else telling him to quiet down and his readiness to conform to that. It seems like a lingering issue from what we see with Conformity and Plague, kind of like even though he’s doing a lot of thinking against it and feels that he has grown beyond it, it may be that he just sort of, without realizing it or intending to, he falls back into that restricted or self-sacrificial mode.

The Cheetah is associated with Solar Force, which lines up with Jin’s energy center in the Soul Body which is the Solar Plexus, the main generator of energy, or the main stimulant running through the body. There’s going to be an issue here, and perhaps it will be set up as a learning curve or something that prompts them all to recognize their own individual contributions to the group in its new form, where when Jin starts to pull back, the others may start to pull back or take notice. There’s an overall slowing down that occurs if Jin slows down.

In my mind, I’m seeing it play out as Jin being the man in the 10 of Swords who chooses not to get up, chooses to lay low, and the other members showing up and just sitting down next to him because they’re anticipating him to kind of… show them how it’s done. Show them how to get things moving again. On one end, it’s because he’s the oldest, and on the other, it’s because he’s been out of the military the longest. So, this state of reversal is temporary because something is going to prompt him to get this energy in the upright position again, and this will be what begins to stimulate the Soul Body as well as the group on a conscious and physical level. Like, I can see this literally be an issue that lasts for like two days before it’s upright again.

For reference, here’s the description of the Cheetah in its upright position:

  • “Cheetah — Solar force, action, achievement, masculine energy — The Cheetah is the epitome of the solar forces at work. The Sun doesn’t shine onto the Cheetah, it shines from inside this great creature and expands outward to brighten the universe. The energy within the Cheetah personality is palpable to others, and they naturally attract an audience to bear witness to their remarkable achievements. Purpose and passion are the best fuel for a Cheetah’s forward momentum, so if you’re lacking in those areas, reconnect to the why before you start running.”

Higher Self Core Alignment: Elephant — Fire

Again, I say, there’s no way that Cheetah is staying reversed for very long because even his Higher Self is gearing up to push the energy of the Elephant, which is the strongest and most developed Fire energy in the deck, down into the core. It’s like whatever kind of restriction he’s possibly going to put on himself, he’s outgrown it, he’s too big to fit into that little box he kept himself in before.

With the description of this card, there is a lot of emphasis put on the aspect of the Elephant being a guide of sorts, something that can guide you through and around obstacles. This is making me think a lot of how I’m seeing Jin potentially laying out the pathways of production or flow for the other guys when the group comes together. If he’s laying on the beach, they’ll be sitting there next to him. If he’s up and moving, spearheading the movement of the group and getting everything back into a synergistic flow, they'll be right behind him. Something about the group is going to make something click for him and he’s not just going to reverse the Cheetah, which is mainly for his own benefit, he’s going to implement the Elephant, which is something that would guide the entire group.

Again, I’m seeing this sit both on a conscious/physical level as well as the level of the Soul Body where his influence lines up with the idea of a stimulant that gets the energy pumping or powers on the rest of the body.

Water Alignment: Eagle — Air (rev.)

Just the same as the Cheetah, and I have a feeling this is how all the alignments are going to be, the reversal of this card is in response to Jin’s effort to pull himself back on some level as a way to integrate back into the group. It really doesn’t make any sense to me, like it really seems like something he’s going to do without realizing it and only when he sees the other members kind of following his lead, then he’s like, oh, shit, yeah, no, that’s not how we’re going to do this.

Upright, the Eagle is the highest and most developed energy in the Air suit, and it holds connections to truth, power, and positive karma. In reverse, it’s described as simply being controlling. With this in his Water Alignment, the area that connects with emotions, creativity, and intuition, there’s a feeling of being overly logical with his emotions or creative input, filtering it to a degree that seems “polite” or “considerate,” but in the long run, he’s basically shoving himself inside a jar without any air holes to breathe. There’s an element of suffocation here that I think would eventually become too much to bear and he would just kind of let it out eventually. Just as I was seeing before, he’s outgrown these past aspects of self-restriction, so no matter what, this card isn’t going to stay reversed for very long.

I can see the Eagle, when upright, as a kind of marker for the other members, Jin stepping up in a way where he’s making sure that everyone else is being heard to ensure they are not made to feel restricted in the way that he has been in the past. There’s something here suggesting that, in the past, he would open avenues for the other members to be able to speak, defended them and stood behind them to ensure they would be heard, but in this new state, there will be an urge to lead by example, to fight for himself and, from that, the others will be able to very clearly hold their ground within the group.

There’s just such an issue with this whole learning curve for all the members where they’re all going to try and reacclimate into the group as it was before military service, only to find out that they’ve all grown to be ten times the size they were before. There’s a moment of panic where they’re all like, oh shit, I’m a problem now, I’m taking up too much space, and then, something happens, which I think has to do with Jin, where they realize, oh, we’re all bigger now, we don’t need to change ourselves, we just need to change the lay out of the walls that contain us as a group, which is just a mindset thing. They’re not just a group, they’re a group of solo artists who amplify each other when they work together.

Fire Alignment: Frog — Water (rev.)

This Water energy is dripping into the Fire Alignment from the Water Alignment where the reversed Eagle is limiting or filtering a lot of that personal creative and emotional input. This, along with the core energy being hindered all together with the revered Cheetah, causes this kind of overflow flooding situation where the leftover Water starts to pool and become heavy, it sinks into the deeper subconscious as it is suppressed and it starts to douse the Fire energy. This really looks like a tangled mess of energy that will cause a lot of inner discomfort, something that could register on a conscious level as light depression or a sudden down-turn in energy overall as those held back emotions and intention halting on creative flow sucks the life right out of the Fire Alignment. As he is a Sagittarius, the Fire Alignment is where he would find himself the most, his identity would be in there.

The Frog, however, when it is upright, would automatically bring with it a kind of “shower” or clean water that would flow back into the Water Alignment and allow the Fire Alignment, connecting to the Cheetah to turn back on. Basically, as I’m seeing it, when things click for Jin, the Elephant moves into the Core, the Cheetah moves into the Fire Alignment, and the Frog goes into the Water Alignment, all upright and creating a more balanced system of function and stimulation.

Upright, the Frog is about cleansing and healing. It comes with emotional purging which here just sort of feels like a moment when the dam breaks and he’s just letting it all out, speaking up, sharing his ideas, and like I said, the others will follow his lead on this, follow his lead on taking up the amount of space they should be.

Earth Alignment: Oyster — Water

Now, this is the only upright card in his alignments, and of course it’s one about holding things inside and attempting to hold back the best parts of yourself. The Earth Alignment is connected to self-awareness and perception, as well as how a person connects to their surroundings. In this, Jin is the pearl inside the Oyster, a little bit of its light leaking out of the sides, but ultimately covered up. It’s not necessarily hiding or trying to pretend it’s not there, but there’s very clear filtration happening as to not be too loud or too bright to a point where he throws off what he thinks the balance of the group should be.

There’s a bit of an oppressive energy to the shell itself, as if the shell is the environment overall that causes Jin to snap back into that old system of containing himself to a degree. I was seeing an emphasis put on the idea of the Oyster needing to be broken open in order to get the pearl out, and I was really confused by this, but then I realized that’s probably referring to whatever it is that the other guys are going to do or say that makes Jin want to stop filtering himself in order to encourage them to take up more space.

With the Oyster’s connection to Water energy, this does link back into the foundational suppression of the Water Alignment with the Eagle, it’s a conscious level filtration. None of his energy is gone, he’s actively attempting to filter it and hold it back.

Air Alignment: Nightingale — Air (rev.)

In Jin’s Air Alignment, which connects to conscious level thought process and elements of communication, he has the Nightingale in reverse, which showcases the filtration of speech as well as potential pull back in performance. Again, it’s a very temporary thing, but this is way more conscious and deliberate than the other sets, and this card itself emphasises the voice both in terms of communication and singing. When it is upright, it represents a fearless voice, speech, or song, and when it is reversed, it’s like the words are getting stuck in the throat, and even if you want to speak, you can’t.

I find it interesting that the note on this card about bringing it into balance when it is reversed suggests using music to encourage the words to flow. This goes into what I was seeing for Jin, as well as some of the other members, where once they are together and actually working, especially on music, a lot of these odd dynamics go away and they find their flow again within the new state of things.

Just the same as the other sets, this will become upright once that idea of needing to filter in order to conform is broken. It’s kind of cool though that there does seem to be a pattern where the alignments switch as they become upright. I’m seeing the Elephant go into the core, the Cheetah move into the Fire Alignment, the Frog move into the Water, the Eagle move into the Earth, and the Nightingale remains in the Air Alignment becoming upright, and I see whatever the Pearl is representing becoming the Higher Self’s core alignment. As the Nightingale and the Air Alignment are the most forward-facing energies, the most conscious, this may be the first set to actually get turned upright, and that Air energy sparks the Fire in the Cheetah which triggers the rest of the alignments to start switching.

Main Reading with Sprinkles!

Starting off on the far right side, there is a set of Sprinkles that begins with the Gebo rune, which is associated with partnerships, assistance, generosity, and good luck. Underneath there is “mother is calling,” “very soon,” “pretend,” and “manifesting now.” These come together as “mother is calling soon with a gift of good luck, pretend it’s already here.” A little confusing, but this seems to be referring to the Elephant and the oncoming of Jin’s breaking of the patterns of self-restriction. Jin is the “mother” that’s about to birth a new kind of Fire behind the group, showcased within the Elephant. This can also go back to elements of the Soul Body as he, on a soul level, could also be generating a whole new kind of stimulation for the body. The note to pretend that it’s already happening, I think, is for me or another indication that this overall state of filtration and hesitation is temporary and will change up rather quickly.

Over the reversed Eagle in the Water Alignment is the Kenaz rune, which is the “torch,” associated with enlightenment, knowledge, insight, illumination, purpose, and ideas. I was seeing this as what the Eagle will bring into the space when it is made upright. It illuminates the spaces of the Water Alignment, of Jin’s own creative and emotional spaces, and carries it out into the external world through his speech. He “lights a torch,” similar to how we see the Elephant carrying the fire, for the others and most likely stimulates a lot of inspiration for them as well as their audience.

Moving into the reversed Cheetah at the core, there are a lot of Sprinkles that connect it to the other alignments, showcasing different elements of influence that seem to demonstrate how they’re all kind of reliant on each other. The word “insecure,” connects the Cheetah to the Eagle, showing general insecurity or a lack of self-esteem being what settles the Eagle into its reversed position when it comes to emotional or creative matters.

“Day to day,” “cleansing rain,” and “gentle chaos” connect the reversed Frog in the Fire Alignment to the Cheetah. There’s a progression there where “day to day” and “cleansing rain,” are looked at as a positive thing, something that is cooling him down and making him more manageable, but the last one, “gentle chaos,” is this sort of down under, deeper in the subconscious space affirmation that if he were to stay filtered like this, it would start to fester from the inside out. There would be more heaviness, more “dirty water,” accumulated that would become harder and harder to get out as time went on.

With this, there’s a highlight put on how the Cheetah and the Frog are staring right at each other in the main layout. Fire against Water, two cards that are about the release of energy both being reversed and held down. They’re aggravated with each other, but the element of reversal is mostly rooted in something outside of this system all together. It comes off as the Cheetah being the “day to day” action, and the Frog being the “cleansing rain,” and, if left un checked, these two energies beginning to attack each other creating that sense of inner chaos where there’s an urge to speak and do, right alongside the urge to hide and keep quiet.

Between the Oyster in the Earth Alignment and the Cheetah, there is “stars align for you,” which bounces off the Sprinkle “television,” which lays over the Oyster on its own. This brought to mind Jin’s potential ventures into acting (finally omg) and this contributed to what allows him to break out of that shell and remain in an established position on his own alongside the group. This is then brought over into “everything is different now,” where a system of his external, physical function takes a new shape. It’s like the pearl, Jin, is suddenly learning to move around outside of that encasing, operating within a different industry perhaps and learning how to spread himself evenly amongst all of it.

The Cheetah then connects to the reversed Nightingale in the Air Alignment with “media training” where there is a feeling of that overawareness of what other people are thinking, how every little piece of you goes into the building perception of the general public. The general filtration of the Nightingale and the limit of the Cheetah connect through media training or the learned default systems of behavior and expression that Jin was abiding by before.

As the Nightingale also has “another passage written,” over it on its own, I feel that this connects back to the Cosmic Flower in his guideline reading, and the elements of someone in the past potentially shutting down his efforts for a solo project or solo endeavors. There may have been some kind of backing to this that was demonstrated to him as him just not being popular enough to warrant solo work or solo activities. This could have lent to a lot of personal insecurity in general, but similar to the Eagle with Kenaz, this is suggesting that with the whole Jin 2.0, there’s a much stronger level of confidence to his own standing, not just within the group, and he will in fact step out into other things, adding on to to his resume and amplifying his general status in the entertainment industry on his own.

I think in general, he’s really going to be a guiding light for the others when it comes to actually being able to handle operating in different directions, as a soloist, as a member of a group, and as someone who may be stepping into other parts of the industry.

That’s all I have for this one, thanks for reading! :)
