What happened to Winner in 2016? Why did Taehyun leave?

August 12, 2018

HI! I love your readings! I’ve always wondered as to whatever happened to Winner when on of the members left 2 years ago because it was very messy and sketchy. Could you do a reading on them if you have some spare time? Thank you!

Omg, I feel really bad. I kind of liked Winner when I first got into kpop and I really liked Taehyun. I had to go to their Wikipedia page to see who left and I’m so sad. I’m like a million years late, but that’s a bummer. I didn’t really tap his energy for this reading because it was such a long time ago now that he left according to their Wiki page (2016). Instead, I tapped the energy around the moment, or around that time, if that makes sense. A little different than what I usually do, but it’s kind of a similar technique to engaging with past life energies and is a lot better for situations like this.

Why did he leave the group?

Ace of Cups + 7 of Cups + 2 of Swords

The Ace of Cups plopped out right away and I felt emotional unrest, but I also saw creative differences and an “inner calling” of sorts. It was a little all over the place so the clarification card, 7 of Cups, is like, “yeah, it was a bit of everything” but it was leaning more towards mental or emotional health-related issues. This lead to him struggling with that decision there within the 2 of Swords. It was his decision though, or at least he had the final say in leaving.

Wheel of Fortune + 8 of Wands

Now, when I say this shit flew out of the deck, I mean this shit FLEW OUT OF THE DECK AND ABOUT POKED MY DAMN EYE OUT. This is what he chose basically, or this is what his decision was based on. He wanted to turn things around so he picked himself the fuck up and threw himself into recovery. It’s kind of like rehabilitation in a way. I don’t think it was anything related to drugs, but mental health rehabilitation could have been a focus for him after he left.

I also pulled cards for the Company’s influence (YG) because there seemed to be some…

3 of Cups + 3 of Swords + 10 of Wands

No joke, I’ve seen this combo before for a Kpop idol who was having difficulties with their company or staff. Basically what it is is that Taehyun really trusted and looked up to the company or staff and then they turned somehow and really killed his trust in some way. Literal backstabbing is what the 3 of Swords is here. With that, the 10 of Wands is overworking. It’s like if a friend gave you a job because you’re their friend and then worked you to the bone and became a dictator over you - that kind of vibe. Betrayal and stress, physical pain.

I pulled cards for the members too to see how they played in

The Empress + Justice

They didn’t want him to leave and they stuck up for him a lot. I see like a Mom and Dad in these cards, a nurturer, and a protector. This is like all of the other guys embodied that for him. I can’t remember, but wasn’t he the youngest one?? Whether he is or he isn’t, they were very aware of his state and very, very gentle with him and very much standing their ground when it came to how the company or their staff treated him.

There is a sense that Taehyun was singled out, like maybe even bullied by staff or the company in general. There’s a reason that the other guys felt the need to stand up for him rather than just take care of him and be by his side when he was in pain. This is actually really low vibes here, like sad times. To be quite honest, I think you should be happy that he’s not there anymore. I mean, no offense to YG fans, but from what I’ve heard around town, YG (the man and the company) is pretty fucking toxic. Lol, I don’t like the vibes from this shit at all. This was a gross time for him.

I still didn’t tap into his energy, but I pulled cards just to see how he’s dealing now, and from what I can tell he’s got some personal struggles still, but he’s making his way through plenty of little personal victories and is still working on finding a good balance and making things work for himself. :)
