You’ll have to forgive me. I’m not really familiar with Exo outside of a few vine compilations and crack videos I’ve seen of them, so sorry in advance if I get their names wrong (I checked the kprofiles page for them) or if I lay things out in a way that doesn’t vibe with what their fans see or understand.

The energy that Kyungsoo projects out into the group is shown here through Justice. He is a stabilizing factor in the group, probably the main mediator, and is someone who can cool things down and keep the peace when things get too heated. He seems very open energetically speaking, kind of like he’s always reaching out to other people, and that makes me think he’s they type to always check in on everyone, or is the first to notice when someone is down or sick. I think this definitely leans into why half of the members seem to see him as more emotionally giving and intuitive.

Suho - The High Priestess

This perspective shows that Suho is seeing Kyungsoo as someone who can see beyond what is right there in front of them, he’s not so superficial. I thought this was interesting because this was really landing more as a reflection of Suho himself, or showing how he views himself in the sense that he may not be as emotionally receptive, may approach things a bit more logically, and therefore he is glorifying this aspect of Kyungsoo’s nurturing and intuitive nature.

There is also a focus on Kyungsoo’s ability to make connections with other people through this emotional receptivity. Suho may be more aware of how Kyungsoo can bring about success for himself quite naturally through his connections, through his ability to network and make friends. It’s almost like there’s this deep down idea of Kyungsoo having superpowers when it comes to how he interacts with other people as it comes off quite mystical and mysterious, these hidden talents that Suho may both admire and be envious of.

Xiumin - The Moon

Again, there is a big focus on Kyungsoo’s receptivity, however The Moon here really carries its traditional meaning in terms of it being misunderstood or confusing in some way. Xiumin finds something in Kyungsoo’s sensitive nature confusing. This may come from the fact that Kyungsoo himself is very balanced and a lot of what is internal remains internal, while what is external remains external. Kyungsoo may superficially come off as a bit more headstrong, stable, and maybe even cold at times, but then can soften up and level with people very easily.

Within this as well, Xiumin may be able to see past some of those more stable walls and could be seeing more of Kyungsoo’s own emotional turmoil, but not in a way where he’s seeing him break down. He himself may be receptive to Kyungsoo being “slightly off” at times and it is something he focuses on. It seems like, from his perspective, these different sides of Kyungsoo are clear and well-defined, but how they blend together, or shift between one to another is what he finds confusing. Either way, both Suho and Xiumin are very watchful and it comes off like they analyze or have analyzed Kyungsoo to some extent as they have very specific details that they choose to focus on.

Lay - 4 of Cups

This is where things started to get a little confusing for me. Suho and Xiumin are both observing Kyungsoo, specifically focusing on emotional exchange and such, but then this guy here, Mr. Lay, is actually trying to engage with Kyungsoo’s emotional side. There’s a lot of significance to him actually having to try to engage, as if it’s difficult for him to really get in there — whether the difficulty is on his end or Kyungsoo’s isn’t really clear.

There are open ports, or energy lines, extending from Kyungsoo that move towards both Lay and Baekhyun, but it’s a much smoother connection with Baekhyun. With Lay, it’s like he can see the emotional connection being made available, he sees that line, that open door, he can see someone to talk to, someone he thinks he can open up to, but for some reason, it’s just not happening the way that he thinks it should be happening. That line is crooked, that open door is jammed. He can still move through them, just at a slower pace and a few hiccups.

Again, it’s hard to say which one of them is causing the crooked line or jammed door, and it could be both of them. When it comes down to it, Kyungsoo is receptive, but he’s not a mind reader, and Lay doesn’t come off as the type to want to just walk up to someone and poor their guts out to them unprompted. So, it’s like Lay is trying to get as close to the door as possible, but he doesn’t want to knock on it, and yeah, maybe Kyungsoo can see him there through the window waiting to be let inside, but he’s just not going to open up for people like that unless it seems necessary. And unless you’re banging down the door, it certainly doesn’t seem like his help is really needed.

But really, it’s like all Lay needs is for someone to says, “hey, what’s wrong?” and then he’ll just let it all out, but it has to be the right person at the right time. So, he can see a bunch of other people getting to walk through the door just fine, and he’s still trying to figure out how to really get in there without actually having to knock. Again, he does get in, it just takes more time.

Baekhyun - Knight of Cups

Like I said before, this chicken nugget here seems like he gets all the attention, or at least he is someone who utilizes that emotional support quite often. There is a very strong connection between Baekhyun and Kyungsoo on an energetic level, but I can’t really tell what level of their consciousness it’s actually moving through. Either way, the Knight of Cups shows that Baekhyun sees Kyungsoo as someone who is literally there whenever you need him, he’s always on duty, suited up, and ready to fight, or ready to pass you a drink, ready to take you for a ride, whatever you need in order to feel better. It’s a very literal depiction of a “ride of die” kind of friendship.

This definitely does feel like it goes both ways as well, it’s not just Kyungsoo taking care of Baekhyun, it’s a very equal exchange, and that may be why the energy line between them is so much more stimulated compared to the others.

Chen - 4 of Pentacles

The Earth energy between them is really popping off here and I don’t know how to feel about it. The energy projecting here isn’t bad, but it’s very rigid and kind of tensed up in a way where it seems like Chen is looking at Kyungsoo like an annoyingly grounded and strict guy who has never had any fun ever in his whole entire life and never will. That’s like the exact opposite of what the previous four guys were seeing, and I feel like this shows an opposing yet mirrored personality. Like Kyungsoo and Chen probably have a lot of similarities to each other, but they’re the kind of similarities that can drive them insane, cause them to get on each other’s nerves, and argue.

In basic terms, Chen is projecting here, like he is the 4 of Pentacles, but the attributes of the 4 of Pentacles are what he sees in Kyungsoo and defines them as being negative. His own rigidity and potentially controlling nature, or his own perfectionism may be something he doesn’t like in himself, so he’s more likely to focus on it in other people. Straight up, I looked at the two pentacles on the ground under the man’s feet and was like, lol, they are literally the same person and they hate it.

Chanyeol - 3 of Wands

A bit of Fire energy here now, which is nice. Out of everyone, Chanyeol feels just a tiny bit more detached from Kyungsoo, but he might just be that way with everyone, just a bit detached, not so emotionally invested. It’s not a full emotional disconnect or a dismissal, it’s just this vibe of, “you do you, I’ll be over here if you need me” kind of thing. More than anything, the 3 of Wands here is Chanyeol observing and admiring Kyungsoo’s ability to make progress with his work, it feels very inspiring in that way. He’s very focused on the resources that Kyungsoo has been able to accumulate for himself and he may be “taking notes” from the sidelines.

It’s almost like he’s shy about acknowledging the fact that he’s looking up to Kyungsoo. I think he’d be the type to tease him about being a workaholic, or tease him about having too much going on, having too many friends, when in reality, he finds it all very admirable and inspiring.

Kai - The Magician

This can be looked at in a very literal sense. It’s like Kai actually does see Kyungsoo as a magician, as person with a lot of tricks up their sleeves. It’s like a full show on display to watch Kyungsoo work and make things happen, and Kai literally feels like a little kid watching these somewhat simple and easy to figure out tricks play out. Like, he’d be that kid in the front row watching the magician turn one ball into two, and he’d just start screaming oh my god and clapping like a maniac. He just seems so impressed by Kyungsoo.

In a way, Kai lines up with some of the others where he doesn’t quite get Kyungsoo, and he seems very mystical and mysterious because of it, but at the same time, he totally understands Kyungsoo down to the very bone. It’s like the kid in the front row is a big fan of magic, and he’s study all the tricks and he knows how they all work, but to actually see a professional, especially one he already admires, pull the tricks off, he’s still amazed even if there’s not that need for the wide-eyed question of, “how did he do that?”

This would apply to Kyungsoo’s work and maybe just his talents overall, all the different tricks adn performances that he can pull out at any time. There’s a lot of support and humor in this as well, as if one of the tricks Kyungsoo has are jokes that Kai always finds funny.

Sehun - The Chariot

This is a very respectful young man here, I see. The vibe here is very similar to Chanyeol except Sehun isn’t taking notes or teasing, he’s just like, “yeah, that was good,” but in a very stern voice. I don’t know how to explain it exactly, but it’s like he may not say a whole lot, he may not compliment him a lot, but when he does, it’s very glorious, like his compliment is to literally hand Kyungsoo a gold crown and then walk away.

I can just see it in my head as Sehun walking up to Kyungsoo, head up, shoulders back, direct eye contact, hand extended for a shake, and just saying, “that was amazing.” It just looks so professional on the surface, but underneath there’s just all of this gold and very genuine pride that he feels for his friend. There’s a lot of respect there as well that stems from his admiration for Kyungsoo’s work ethic and his ability to actually achieve whatever he sets out to do.

In simple terms, Sehun, just energetically speaking, seems a bit more self-involved, not really selfish or self-centered, but he’s got a bit of an ego, his own pride is at the forefront of everything but when it comes to certain accomplishments of other people, he will very openly give credit where credit is due, and Kyungsoo deserves all the credit.
