How does TWICE see ITZY?

How does Twice feel about ITZY? What are their feelings towards the new girl group as they just debuted recently?

This was a little confusing to really unpack, it was like a tangle of different colored ribbons being shoved together, like different energies, view, opinions towards the newer girl group. I’m not too familiar with how JYP does things but there is some kind of creative influence over ITZY from Twice that is… somewhat involuntary? Again, a little confusing but it’s like they were “demoted” in a very specific manner or area and then that area was given to ITZY.

Visually what I’m seeing with that is like someone built this really big and amazing house, had it furnished and painted the walls all nice, and then they put it on the market, a lot of people want to buy it. Then there’s a “sold” sign out front but the people that bought it didn’t buy the house, they bought the wallpaper from the bathroom and the tile floor from the kitchen, you know, shit like that. They take pieces from the house and put it in their own house. Like, JYP took pieces from Twice and put it in ITZY and what they took doesn’t belong to Twice anymore, but… like… the house that was gutted has to teach the other house how to wear that wallpaper… basically.

So, there’s that kind of vibe there way underneath, but on top it’s a completely different thing. The Empress opposes the King of Cups in the sense that she’s very willing to help the new house learn how to wear the wallpaper, she’s literally carrying the 6 of Wands and the 9 of Pentacles with her, like that’s the image she is helping to create in the new house. It’s weird because The Empress here looks overly posed and “waxy” to me, very fake and stiff like she’s posing for a picture. Her posture is very open and welcoming but her face is neutral like the King’s. Mixed signals, I guess.

Overall it’s like there’s resentment because of what was taken from them to give to the new group and that resentment might mostly be towards the company, but they present very positively to the other group or even just in interviews about them. I don’t think the same views are shared by everyone in the group, but that stand-offish kind of vibe is projected from the group entirely. Nothing negative or hostile, just kind of worried, I guess. There’s that typical worry around being replaced or washed up. I kept hearing “I’m an old man” with the King of Cups, so they could be sharing fears around being replaced for being “old” or washed up… which… lol what?? But obviously, things can come and go very quickly with KPOP, anything can happen, and there could also be some internal problems relating to that as well.
