02/03 - 02/09 — Blue Moon Punch

Feb 3: Venus in Pisces Sextiles Saturn Capricorn at 25° and Mercury enters Pisces

There’s an interesting picture that I had forming in my head when looking over this week’s Astrology and it really seems to play into the collective messages that I got pertaining to a build-up of pressure and something along the lines of a forced purge. It starts with the Sextiles between Venus and Saturn, as well as the Venus and Pluto Sextile which happened on Sunday. I was seeing these as Venus visiting the energies of Pluto and Saturn and picking up supplies that are based on their collective influence throughout 2020. She then carries them into Aries, the starting point, a new battle or journey.

Mercury is following her but he’s having his own existential crisis as he “transcends” the conscious awareness that he’s more accustomed to by entering Pisces, where he then communicates, trades information with the higher awareness of Uranus who is sitting in the very physical realm of Taurus. Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, and Mercury, ruler of Gemini, are working in each other’s domains in a sense — Uranus residing in a more superficial and grounded space while Mercury begins to roam the realm of the unconscious and non-physical. I was seeing this as creating a bridge where the more conscious awareness and the higher awareness merge and it opens up a port for people to receive downloads, transmissions, inspiration, whatever needs to come through really. I would assume depending on where 2° of Pisces and Taurus are in your chart could help you understand where specifically that port would open up for you or what kind of information you might receive.

So, Venus is traveling ahead with her supplies, kind of cutting down foliage and forming a path that Mercury is following as he moves through the fog of Pisces. I was seeing this passage and journey being related to Chiron in Aries which Venus will conjunct at 2° on the 10th, as well as Mars in Aries (June 29 - January 7, 2021) which will have some pretty significant aspects to the planets in Capricorn, similar to what Venus will have this week. Where she has Sextiles, Mars will have Squares. Mars will be at odds with those energies as the personal will is against higher systems of power both spiritually and socially/politically. Venus, in a sense, is suiting up and gaining tools, Mercury is mapping out the path that she makes, and soon Mars will actually storm the field.

Some of the notes that I had written down for Mars are things like, “a student approaches their teacher,” “is Mars coming home? Are we coming home or are we being reborn?”

The “story” that I was seeing with Mars was like Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter all sitting in Capricorn ruling their territories in close proximity are watching little baby Mars preparing to meet his own Kingdom, Aries. It’s a matter of taking responsibility and growing up in order for Mars to separate from these other masculine energies and initiating his own rule over the home of the Self. It’s a whole dramatic thing, I’m definitely going to write it all out because similar to Venus there’s this whole thing of Mars visiting other planetary bodies through conjunctions in order to learn and grow, very cinematic. Anyway, this situation here feels like prep for Mars, for the activation of the Self and the Self-rule.

As tools and information are collected, unnecessary tools and lessons are pushed out or deconstructed, and this system of purging will be connected to the Leo Full Moon, which is also a Supermoon, so everything is amplified.

The Leo Full Moon is going to add a lot of strong projection to everything, every bit of stress or sense of relief will be amplified and have to be expressed in one way or another, and if everyone is doing that, then there can surely be some issues that arise because of it. For the sake of being as mindful as possible, for some people, it can help to see what houses these ports could form within your chart.

Collective Message:

For the collective, the message here is very simple and it directly relates back to what I was getting with the Astrology. Passion is this over-the-top expression brought on by that build-up of pressure and forced purging of the mental and emotional space. The blue circle in the middle of the image of Passion is what I was seeing as Mercury in Pisces, or the conscious mind being brought into a very floaty, unstable space and the discomfort or tension is the red that starts to radiate out of it. It’s confusion and this feeling of being able to move but not really being able to see anything.

Gaia, the second image, is this call to literally ground yourself, calm the fires and let the Pisces energy, that Water flows into Earth. Between Passion and Gais, the images are similar, but one is much calmer and feels a lot more in harmony with themselves. Essentially, what I was getting, is that some people will have to ground into the Earth, or Earth energy, and then allow the Water energy that is producing the purge and release to flow out and into the soil, allowing the two energies to combine. The “wet soil” will soothe the tension and heat of the stimulated Fire or the need to project the tension or discomfort in a way that could cause problems.

The Crown Chakra is there at the end as a reminder of where to actually focus in order to see where these energies are affecting you, how they are being projected, and how you can soothe them. It’s the higher mind, seeing beyond the emotional response, beyond the tension of the moment in order to enact a system to stabilize and allow for the process to flow as freely as possible. This is also a matter of being mindful of yourself and other people. Pretty much everyone will have some kind of pressure building up within them, some good, some bad, and because of that, there are a lot of open doors for aggravation and miscommunication.

Basic message: Shit can get high-key wild this week in the mental space so stay grounded and try not to throw your upset feelings at other people. Process them, release them, and move on.

Water Signs

Cancer: Escape — Mars in Pisces
Scorpio: Impulsiveness — Mars in Aries
Pisces: Achievement — Sun in Capricorn

Between Cancer and Scorpio, there is a focus on Mars, a focus on defensive projection, while Pisces is carrying the projection of the Sun, more like an expansion. Pisces may have an easier time dealing with the processes and influences coming through this week, but Cancer and Scorpio will have to really keep themselves collected as Cancer may work against deconstruction and Scorpio may work against the process of the release itself. Both Cancer and Scorpio can be highly sensitive with these energies which can cause some issues with communication as well as self-sabotage in different areas of life.

For more guidance, Cancer and Scorpio can look at the placement of their natal Mars as these points of projection may need to be consciously balanced if issues do come up. Pisces can focus on Capricorn or the 10th house in their chart if necessary, but really, it seems like whatever you’re working towards right now will have an open path as long as you yourself stay open and inflow.

Earth Signs

Taurus: Publicity — Jupiter in Leo
Virgo: Status — Jupiter in Taurus
Capricorn: Principle — Jupiter in Sagittarius

Lots of Jupiter energy there, huh? A lot of expansion which I was seeing as quite literally the groundbreaking and splitting open to stretch across the ocean, creating these massive land bridges. As Earth Signs, you lean towards stability, towards laying new paths brick by brick with a good sense of control, but the presence of Jupiter is like this little heads up or a warning being like, “Hey, something’s gotta give here.” Like, something has to break in order to speed things up or to really get you to where you need to be.

For Taurus, Publicity is connected to the Mercury sextile with Uranus, promoting an open expression of a deeper (or higher) mentality or idea. It’s something that draws attention to you, puts you on the map and expands the attention of others towards you.

Virgo has something that is almost the inverse of Taurus where the aspect of Status is actually being brought into question, as in you are being asked to expand your idea of your own status in the lives of others, in society, within your own perception even. This could bring up the reform of priorities in your life as well.

Capricorn seems to be dealing with an even deeper aspect of expansion as Principle is associated with Jupiter in Sagittarius, the sign of its rulership. This is the epitome of expansion and creation, specifically relating to philosophy and the lens through which you choose to view the bigger picture of life itself. Your mind is expanding, the systems through which you work, act, and perceive through are what will be cracking and splitting open in order to get you to new places.

Overall, for the Earth Signs, “think outside of the box” seems to be the motto of this week.

Air Signs

Gemini: Organization — Mercury in Capricorn
Libra: Drama — Mercury in Leo
Aquarius: Flirtation — Venus in Sagittarius

Of course, the planets of connection and communication came out swinging here for you Air Signs, and they all heed a bit of a warning. For Gemini, as soon as the Organization card came out, there was this very frantic and scattered feeling that followed, suggesting that the energies this week and the issues that can pop up with it may break your usual “Point A to Point B” thought process or your ability to break things down in an intellectual manner, therefore there needs to be some conscious effort quite literally keep things organized or at least keep yourself from falling into that scattered feeling. Especially if this involves how you are perceiving other people’s behavior or expressions, their over-reactions or seemingly inappropriate attitudes, it may require some extra effort on your part to “organize” what people project towards you so that you can understand it without getting aggravated yourself.

Libra… you got Drama. Good ol’ Mercury in Leo influence, and with the influence of Venus collecting her supplies and moving into Aries, you guys may be quite stimulated, quite bold, feeling like you have it all and know it all. That’s all well and good, but I’m sure you can imagine what that feeling can stir up when you’re in a conversation where someone else is quite scattered, aggravated, and confused, maybe saying things they don’t mean or projecting some negativity towards you. I’m pretty sure, no matter what, some kind of drama is going to find you (as it usually does, right? lol) and it’s really a matter of choosing what role you play in it and how much of the issue you allow yourself to take on behalf of other people.

Flirtation came out for Aquarius this week and there’s such a bubbly feeling to the energy but a lot of rigidity and almost this sense of defense against it. Some, but not all, Aquariuses can have trouble being emotionally vulnerable with other people, and they can even find difficulty being vulnerable with themselves, choosing to contain everything and keep their head high even when they are fully submerged in water and about to pass out completely. Flirtation here does carry a lot of romantic energy, of course, so that can definitely be a matter that comes up for some of you, but more than anything I was seeing this as a sort of beckoning of emotional vulnerability. Something may come up that gives you the opportunity (or maybe forces you) to be very open, speak from the heart with people you haven’t or in ways that you haven’t before. It’s definitely something that is opening up the heart, expanding the heart, bringing it out of its confinement.

Fire Signs

Aries: Endurance — Sun in Scorpio
Leo: Manipulation — Jupiter in Scorpio
Sagittarius: Risk — Saturn in Aries

Fire Signs are all kind of working together here in an interesting way, which makes sense considering the influence of expansion and illumination this week. As I was seeing it, Aries is clearing within, Leo is clearing externally, and Sagittarius is forging a new path entirely. This is reflected in Aries and Leo’s connection to Scorpio, an energy of Destruction, which proceeds Sagittarius’ natural ability to expand and create something new.

Individually, Aries, as THE starting point energy, as the initiation of a new cycle, is being brought inward in order to tame the self. It kind of goes back to what I mentioned about Mars later this year going into Aries to gain rulership over the Self. It’s like a solid practice run for you Aries in a time where so much stimulation is coming up. You are a Cardinal Fire sign, projection, expression, and action are your strong suits, however it can take some extra effort to really sit down, quite everything inside and outside, and just ground your energy down into something completely still. Endurance is calling for an internal practice session of maintaining control of yourself while you are being influenced by energies that can cause some aggravation and stress.

Leo, the Full Moon is happening in your sign and you are carrying that point of release with you. Manipulation is associated with Jupiter in Scorpio, a planet of expansion in the realm of the unknown. In terms of clearing the external, I was seeing this as you become more aware of other people or maybe mindsets of your own that cause you to perceive the world around you or yourself as something it isn’t. As an example, I was seeing a Leo being brought to question why they feel so inadequate in their job in spite of the fact that they are well qualified. When they thought about it and really analyzed their surroundings, they found that other people were openly talking down about THEMSELVES, and the Leo had somehow subconsciously internalized it. No one told them they were inadequate, they had done nothing to make themselves think it, it was just in the air that they were breathing. So, things like that, these subtle subliminal manipulations that you may pick up and maybe repeating or cycling through in your mind or within your relationships, your surroundings, anything really, is what you need to look at. Focus on where you tend to have negative thoughts and go from there.

Risk came out for Sagittarius, and it was the most straightforward card out of everyone. The aspect of expansion and purging is your domain, it comes naturally for most of you, and therefore, you have this space here to really spearhead the pathway, or set an example in a way for the other signs on an energetic level. This card is associated with Saturn in Aries, a trial in the very beginning of a new journey. For this I was taken back to the image of Venus moving through a forest chopping down foliage and trees in order to form a path that Mercury, and eventually Mars, will follow. On a more personal level, this is a matter of taking the chances that you’ve been thinking about, stepping forward and initiating something even if it doesn’t feel fully formed yet. You’re going against the grain, you’re creating new systems, so don’t expect anything to feel like a “sure thing” until you’re already doing it.
