ARMY 2025/2026 Outlook - Group 3
Energy Check
For Group 3, there is an interesting pattern of these outward-expanding images that mirror each other between The Warrior, Emergence, Rebirth, and Breathe. All of the images show wings or horns spreading outward, along with Emergence itself being an aspect of expansion or blossoming. There’s quite a forceful energy to this, as if to display a very deliberate, self-initiated rebirth or personal evolution. Something in it feels very connected to Aries energy, even bringing in this sense of personal warfare and a sense of having had to fight for quite some time throughout your life.
As I’m seeing it, The Warrior is on a mission to achieve Breathe, which is symbolizing a sense of peace and tranquility. As we can see a snake slithering through the skull of a bull, this was making me think of the idea of personal shedding, as if you are the snake who has shed the skin of a fighting bull who is now only seeking peace by attempting to move through Emergence and Rebirth. For some of you, however, the presence of the skull, the presence of the horns, shows that in spite of wanting peace, you are still holding a fighting spirit which is creating this more forceful energy — it’s going from you having to fight others, fight the world on some level, to now you feeling as though you need to fight yourself in order to achieve peace.
Warning
Your warning for the coming year is represented by the reversed Glitch.EXE card, a card unique to this tarot deck that here symbolizes points of transition from one world to another. In your case, this is referring to the transition of the snake from the bull, as well as the transition from war to peace through Emergence and Rebirth. As it is reversed, however, there is a warning here about not being able to make these transitions due to a kind of glitch effect that can occur when you are trying to force something to happen. It reminded me of a website or an app locking up after clicking the same button over and over again in an effort to make it go faster.
You are being prompted here with this to consider the type of peace you want and whether or not your actions and mentality are even in alignment with that. Again, there is an irony to the idea of needing to fight a war for peace, and to have that playing out inside of you could disrupt your efforts and cause the snake to remain inside the skull of the bull, or in other words, could cause you, who is evolving into something more easy and in-flow, to stay stuck within the mentality, beliefs, or guidelines of restriction, rebellion, war, and conflict.
Blessing
Your blessing is shown here with the 5 of Pentacles, which actually made me think of the more traditional meaning of it which, in the Rider-Waite tarot, is better displayed through the traditional image:
In the image, we see two sick and injured people, presumably homeless, passing by the illuminated windows of a church while walking through the snow at night. This image represents financial, physical, and spiritual lack or poverty which could potentially be alleviated if the people passing by go inside and request help. For you, I was seeing the individuals as people coming back from war and passing by a sacred space that, typically, is supposed to be associated with tranquility, peace, and deeper, inner healing.
Going back to the visuals of the energy check cards, the images of the horns, flower, and wings all opening up feels like a display here of opening your soul up to peace, opening up your heart and mind to a more balanced and in-flow state of being by acclimating to new spaces that support you enough that you do not feel like you have to fight in order to be there. Along with this, through the element of Earth associated with Pentacles, there is a call here to slow down, to take small steps and to really let yourself move through and experience the energies of Emergence and Rebirth, allow the snake some time to make it out of the bull’s skull and time to acclimate and appreciate the energies of Emergence and Rebirth. Very specifically, this part feels connected to Sagittarius when it comes to self-definition, self-discovery, and elements of rebirth and personal evolution or expansion.
Your blessing is the time, energy, and opportunities you will have to allow yourself to move slowly and steadily through this process, following your own map and really building up a stronger foundation as you heal and release elements of war, and discover and embrace elements of peace, before finally making it to the desired destination of Breathe.
Progression
The progression that you will be going through over the next year is represented by The Fool in reverse, which really feels like a display of clarity that comes from a level of maturity being reached. As I was seeing it, The Fool being reversed takes away the blind potential that the card usually carries, the energy of just kind of winging it, or powering through something without paying much attention to what is going on around you. The reversal also feels like a prompted pause, as if you are going to constantly be given reasons to slow down and take note of where you are, what you’re doing, what you’re thinking, what you’re feeling, and if all of that still lines up with where you are trying to get to. Upright, The Fool can carry a blindness to where he is coming from and where he is going, but you are being asked to really define these things and cement them into place. You are meant to experience rebirth and a new beginning as The Fool does, but you are not meant to do it blindly or without care.
How To Work Through It
The advice or guidance you’ve received here regarding how to move through this progression is centered on a self-taming of sorts that feels very connected to the idea of cooling off the ego which may have been inflamed through those aspects of war and fighting, generating a habitual need for defense and fast-paced movement in order to avoid being tripped up.
In the traditional image, we see a woman petting a lion, a symbol of someone’s spirit or enlightened consciousness taming their own ego. They are not killing it, trapping it, or beating it, they are cooling it, establishing trust and a sense of safety and security that allows the ego to relax and not fuel the energy of the fighting bull in The Warrior. In the Tarotwave version, I was seeing the disconnected head-computer as representing the snake inside the bull’s skull, detached from the body and seeming quite out of place. There’s a process of evolution occurring here, one that needs to be soothed and cooled down in order to avoid major blocks in this progression.
It reminds me a lot of taking a dog to the vet where, obviously, they’re there to be treated and taken care of, but they don’t know that, and therefore they can be quite scared and defensive the entire time, attempting to bite the doctors or attempting to run away. In this same way, your ego needs to be soothed or calmed down by checking in, literally explaining to yourself over and over again what you are doing, why you are doing it, where you are, and where you are going. If we think about the snake having shed the skin of the bull, having evolved from a bull to a snake, it is suddenly much smaller, suddenly more sensitive with a fresh new skin, and if this just sort of happened without any kind of warning, the snake itself, in spite of wanting to get to peace, may stay inside the bull’s skull simply because it’s familiar and provides a sense of safety. In the same way, you may be a changed person, aiming for peace and an ease in your life, but part of you may be more accustomed to fighting and being on edge, which can leave you in conflict with yourself as one part of you tries to move toward a new comfort while another clings to an old idea of comfort.
Being prompted to slow down and take things in may be primarily a way to allow your mind to stay aligned so that you can feel stable and safe within this transition.
Keywords
Your keywords are “pleasure with purpose,” “purpose,” and “observing.” This was quite interesting as I was seeing the two references to purpose playing up in two different spaces, particularly associated with peace and war. “Pleasure with purpose,” is connecting to peace or the Breathe card, while “purpose,” is connecting to war or The Warrior card. As you are observing this, or learning about this, it’s like you are going to be assessing the differences between these states of being and coming to understand the purpose behind your trials in life, the things that led you to be so in line with war and lining it up with purpose that will be served or built on within in a state of peace.
On some level, I’m seeing this as literally learning how and why certain kinds of war that we face within ourselves or in our personal lives can lay the foundation or even just create the desire for peace to be achieved. With this, there could be an element of making peace with this past state of war, acknowledging a purpose within it, claiming that purpose to have been served, and letting it go so that you can move forward.
