ARMY 2025/2026 Outlook - Group 4
Energy Check
Group 4 seems to be quite tangled up in some heavier energy with Thanatos, Tantric Journey, Personal Power, and A Leg Up in reverse. Thanatos and A Leg Up are seeming to trap the energies of Tantric Journey and Personal Power, with Thanatos feeling to be more connected to the deeper subconscious mind while A Leg Up in reverse is more in the space of the conscious mind and could connect more to the lens that you view the world through. There is a very clear spark and an urging for a personal uprising within Personal Power, something that is channeling directly through the soul with Tantric Journey, but the subconscious and conscious mind seem quite preoccupied with heavier matters that block out this spark from taking shape.
Thanatos is Death, and can be looked at as the Death card in tarot, associated with Pluto, Scorpio, and the 8th House. The 8th House is a foundational port to the deeper subconscious and can be looked at as the place where we go to hide, or the place we hide things from ourselves. In the progression of the Water Signs and Houses, Cancer represents everything that we can not help but feel or express, everything that we can’t help but let boil over into the world. Pisces represents everything we can not see or understand without actively trying to disconnect from the physical and conscious space, holding aspects of awareness that go beyond the human experience. Scorpio sits in between, representing everything that we deliberately hide or ignore out of fear, insecurity, or shame. This can be connected to aspects of trauma being repressed, insecurities being painted over with the ego, or looking past heavier matters in order to avoid the pain or fear that can come in from the outside world.
The image of the web and the tangled hands over the black background of Thanatos reminds me of what I describe as the “black pond,” or a pond filled with black tar that represents the space we occupy when we have fallen from the 7th and into the 8th House, or when we are experiencing a dark night of the soul. The black pond is where you hide all of your pain, fear, and insecurity, either from yourself or from others. At some point in time, you will have to face it. It will need to come to the surface and be processed and then integrated or released. It’s the only way to make it through to the 9th House of rebirth and self-reinvention, and the 10th House where your higher purpose and rewards in life can be achieved. You have to let yourself heal in order to evolve and progress, and in order to heal, there is sometimes a necessary process of cutting things open in order to remove the bad tissue or infection that has been lying under the surface.
A Leg Up in reverse, connecting to the conscious mind mainly, shows that you may have been struggling for quite some time to a point where you may have started to believe that you are never going to get the upper hand, you’re never going to get out of this tangled web, and therefore could have even given up and submitted to this feeling of entrapment.
In the center, however, your soul is on fire and attempting to rise and experience its rebirth through the 9th House. Personal Power itself feels like the energy and ambition, the desire to rise up through the black pond while Tantric Journey marks the significance of actually processing and integrating elements of these lower times in order to build a foundational understanding of yourself, your experience, and how to build your life going forward. There is an eagerness to evolve paired with a desire to learn and appreciate what your experience has been up to this point, what you’ve learned from it, how it has shaped you, and what you will do with that going forward.
Warning
Your warning for the coming year is centered on the 6 of Cups, which has to do with childhood and memories. It is illuminated here in such a way that this feels like a matter of needing to face matters that occurred in your childhood, things that happened in the past that have contributed to you occupying Thanatos or the 8th House. If you are someone who is in therapy or is planning to go to therapy, this feels a lot like an encouraging and comforting pat on the back with someone saying, “I know this is going to be hard, but you need to share this, you need to let this out,” regarding past trauma and its effects on you now. For some of you, this may be referring to repressed memories coming up to the surface while in therapy that creates a bit of a dam break of emotions and memory that may feel quite heavy in the moment, but ultimately allow you to clear out these heavier aspects that have been holding your consciousness down and even affecting your nervous system.
You are being told here that, yes, certain things from you past will need to be talked about, this will be a heavy and painful experience, but it is extremely necessary for the sake of your healing and the allowance of your soul to rise beyond these perceived limitations or anchors that tether you to the past.
Blessing
A blessing you can look forward to this coming year is portrayed through The Lovers. For some of you, this could be quite literal in terms of finding love and connection, or really feeling seen, heard, and loved by people around you as you start this healing process. For most of you, this is resonating with the element of personal alignment where, in the traditional image of The Lovers, we see Adam, the conscious mind, looking at Eve, the intuitive subconscious mind, who looks up toward the Angel, a representative of the soul or higher unconscious mind. This represents personal alignment and can even suggest the beginnings of soul integration. Looking at this alongside Personal Power and Tantric Journey, there is certainly an upswing in energy knocking at your door, you just have to let the dam break before you can truly get your hands on it.
Progression
Your progression of the next year is represented with The Sun, which really highlights the elements of healing and cleansing the mind, body, and soul of heavier or negative influences and tethers. The Sun is the most positive card in the entire deck and is associated with illumination, joy, innocence, child-like wonder, playfulness, and higher frequencies. There’s a sense of healing coming through here that bounces off of the 6 of Cups where the matter of children, or your childhood, is being cleansed with light. If we imagine the 8th House, the black pond, or Thanatos as being a dark and shadowy place where these anchors to the past have been hiding, the light of The Sun reveals these issues and starts to burn away all the muck, leaving behind a sense of renewal and potentially the healing of the inner child.
There is a feeling here with The Sun of absolute inner liberation, as if the light of The Sun burns through the web of Thanatos and brings clarity to the reversed A Leg Up card, helping you to see the good in yourself as well as the good in the world around you, ensuring that you find your footing and begin to progress with Tantric Journey and Personal Power as your foundations within your soul.
How To Work Through It
The advice you’re receiving for how to work through it, based on the King of Swords, is giving off this very careful and clinical vibe that is again making me think of someone being in therapy. The aspect of Air/Swords denote communication and assessment while the King/Earth brings about a deliberate effort to stabilize or remain grounded within that process of communication and analysis. This may be a prompt for a lot of you to consider therapy if you haven’t already, or this can be affirming your choice to start therapy, and for others this could be giving you more encouragement within the therapy you are already doing to start digging a bit deeper under the guidance of your therapist.
In general, the King of Swords is really asking you to be patient with and mindful of your thoughts and feelings, not letting them take over but also not pushing them down or running from them. Approach them objectively with a bit of detachment in order to observe and analyze them. In doing this, you may familiarize yourself with patterns or habits of thought, as well as certain triggers you may have not noticed before, which can give you a foundation or a guideline of things to focus on and work through either in therapy or on your own.
Keywords
Your keywords are “satisfied,” “guide,” and “trauma.” The word “trauma” seems to confirm the matter of mental health and negative anchors to the past being a significant factor for Group 4, while “guide” felt very connected to the use of a therapist or in reference to the King of Swords’ more objective and clear minded self-observation. With the idea of a guide comes the idea of having a road map or some level of expertise in something that one can then use to help others learn or navigate. The word “satisfied,” feels very calming and seems to give an aim or a goal for general satisfaction, a general sense of peace within the self. It’s not an effort towards absolute perfection to where you can live a life where the past never happened, but rather an effort towards making peace with what has happened, enough so that you can comfortably move on from it, let it go, lay it to rest, and carry on with your life with a more optimistic and self-aligned disposition.
