Will Jimin ever go solo?

Do you think there’s a chance for Jimin going solo in the future? Thank you so much.

I’d say it’s to be expected that he would go solo, or more specifically, put out solo music under his own name simply because that’s what they’re all going to do at some point. With the 8 of Pentacles and the 6 of Swords it does feel like it’s something in the works now, which we know he is working on something, but it’s coming together either in a slower manner or with a lot of resistance.

The 5 of Wands laying over The Empress is where most of that resistance is. The Empress is in place of Jimin in his role as the artist, the energy of creation towards not only the music but the image, and something in that is being met with resistance. It’s almost like he’s staying very solid in his image and his idea of what he wants to make, but then there’s all that mess that’s like, “No!! You have to do this! Or this! Or this!”

This could be something between him and the company as I was hearing the word “contract,” as in there being conflict with the contract and that’s what’s slowing the process down — which I still don’t know what that would mean exactly — but this does feel more concentrated within himself. So, the aspect of the contract could be more about feeling obligated to fit a certain image or to maintain a certain profile or quality, kind of extend who he is in BTS to who he is as a solo artist, and trying to balance that with who he is as a person and as an artist on his own may be causing conflict internally.

You can think of the 8 of Pentacles of having to chip away at certain things within the image in order to “give the people what they want” rather than giving them what he wants to give them, and then the 6 of Swords is like a filtration system internally where he may be rowing the boat around certain things, especially emotionally, that he would like to put out as an artist but feels like he has to avoid in order to maintain his “contract,” or his position as Park Jimin of BTS.

Either way, with The Moon coming out at the end and laying over everything else it’s showing that this is a hidden process, the aspect of conflict and that inner turmoil is deeper and hitting him emotionally, and most likely won’t come to light unless he himself decides to talk about it.
